FRISBEE DOG WORLD CUP FINAL LANDS IN COLORADO!
The Colorado Disc Dogs and the UFO World Cup are presenting the 2017 World Cup Final at Clement Park in Littleton, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 13-15.
(Littleton, Colorado) October 9, 2017 – Dogs of all shapes, sizes and home countries will be soaring this weekend in Littleton as the 2017 World Cup Final touches down in Clement Park. Dog and handler teams have competed all year to qualify for this competition. Teams from all over the USA and as far away as Germany and China will be on hand to try to win the title.
Mutts and purebreds alike will fly high chasing down plastic discs in an attempt to see who is the 2017 top dog in the world!
New this year, the UFO is introducing a Small Dog category for the little guys. Dogs with shorter statures, but big attitudes can content for the top prize among their peers.
The UFO World Cup Series was started in 2001, and holds events all around the world. This is the second time the Colorado Disc Dogs – a local club for frisbee dog enthusiasts – has hosted the finals. Next year the finals will be in the Netherlands.
The event is perfect for families and picnics and anyone who loves dogs is encouraged to stop by. Competition gets underway at 10 am each day, and is non-stop until about 4pm.
