North American Cup Championship

The UFO North American Cup Final is a continental, open championship held in North American every even numbered year.

The event consists of a Combined Championship (Overall Champion), a Freestyle only championship (Freestyle Champion), and a Throw & Catch Championship (T&C Champion).

Teams must qualify for the combined event by earning points (North American Cup Points) at UFO Events in North America only. Currently, 65 North America Cup points are required to compete in the NA Cup Final. Points can be earned at North American UFO Locals and North American UFO Majors.

Teams must qualify for the Throw & Catch Championship by finishing in the top 3 of the Open T&C division at any UFO event in North America. This includes Majors, Locals, and T&C Locals. Qualification spots do NOT slide down, so if a team that is already qualified finishes in the top 3 at another event, that spot is simply gone.

There is no additional qualification required for the NA Cup Freestyle Championship, but only teams that are competing in the Combined Championship will contend for the FS title. The top FS team from the NA Cup Final will be declared the UFO North American Cup Freestyle Champions.

The UFO North American Cup Final is an Open event, in that anyone, from any country can qualify and play in the event.
However, the ONLY way to qualify is to compete in North American UFO Events. The winner of the UFO NA Cup is the UFO North American Cup Champion based on the event, and not where they are from.

The NA Cup Final is typically run as part of a 2 or 3 day event. The first day is a standard UFO Major, and the final opportunity to qualify for the North American Cup Final.
